This July 21 to 27 Challenge Club will be hosting its Summer Camp: Inspire! One week away at the beautiful Incarnation Center in Deep River, CT. Girls between 5th and 12th grade will have the opportunity to grow in their faith and their relationship with Jesus, while making lasting friendships and having tons of fun. Camp activities include swimming, low ropes course, fun games and sports, elaborate night activities and even a couple of dance parties! The girls will also attend daily Mass, have opportunities for confession and spiritual mentoring and participate in formation classes where they can deepen their understanding of what it means to be a Christian in these modern times.
There are many things we provide our children on a daily basis for their well being, but few are more important than a strong faith foundation and a certainty in God’s love for them. Challenge Camp will definitely be an experience they will not forget, that will help cement them in their love of Christ and help mold them into Christian leaders of the future.
I have had the privilege to participate in Challenge Camp as a “Mom Volunteer” the last two years, and the example of faith and fellowship I have seen from these girls is a wonder. When all around them the world makes fun of Christians, tells them it’s better to be “tolerant”, that everyone can do whatever they want and everything is equally good or valid, these girls are learning how to hold strong to their belief in one truth, one God and one source of Good. I am certain that they will grow up to be a wonderful influence in society and they will hang on to God amidst all their troubles. I don’t think I could ask for anything else for my daughter for the future than that strength to hold on tight to Jesus despite what the world says.
I am so happy that I have Challenge Camp to help me provide this important foundation, and I hope that you will consider Challenge Camp for your girls. I am sure you will not regret it!
