As we begin this new year, I want to express my sincere gratitude to the members and friends of Regnum Christi NY Tri-State for the extraordinary generosity and steadfast support you continue to show the Legionaries of Christ Novitiate & College of Humanities. Your generosity is deeply meaningful to our community, and we are sincerely grateful.
Please know how thankful we are not only for the financial support offered by Tri-State, but also for the confidence, trust, and shared sense of mission that stand behind it. Your leadership and your care for Regnum Christi, the Legion, and the seminary are evident, and we are grateful for all that you do to build up the Church and advance our apostolic mission.
It is a true joy to partner with Tri-State in forming priests who will serve the Church with generosity, humility, and pastoral charity. Like you, we desire to act in the world to make it a better place—to help rekindle the Christian heart of the world. The seminarians entrusted to our care are doing everything they can to respond faithfully to God’s loving call, and your support allows them to devote themselves fully to prayer, study, and the beauty of community life. Quite simply, we could not do this work without partners like you.
The Tri-State community is among our most cherished friends, and we cannot thank you enough. We would be honored to welcome you and all of the members and friends to Cheshire at any time. We would also be very happy to arrange a special visit, including a tour of the seminary and time to meet our seminarians. What a joy it would be to thank you in person and to share more fully the impact of your generosity.
I also wanted to share a few upcoming opportunities that may be of interest to those in the Tri-State locality. Our Men’s Spiritual Exercises will take place at the seminary from March 6–8, an experience many have found deeply meaningful and spiritually renewing. In addition, our annual “Swing fore Seminarians” golf tournament will take place on June 2, preceded this year by an Evening of Spiritual Reflection at the seminary on the night before. We would be delighted to welcome friends and members of Tri-State to either—or both—of these gatherings.
As we look ahead to the year to come, please know that our seminarians and fathers are praying for you and for all your Tri-State friends and members. With every good wish for a blessed and joyful New Year, thank you again for your generosity, love, partnership, and unwavering support.
