On Saturday, March 12th the Regnum Christi team led by Linda Romagnoli hosted their annual Lenten Retreat for women. This year the retreat was held at St. Patrick’s in Armonk, NY, and led by Fr. Eric Nielsen, LC. Frs. Daniel Ray and Mark Haydu, LC, were on hand to offer Confession to the fifty women in attendance. Due to the questionable Northeast March weather, the retreat was also live-streamed on the RCNY Facebook page.
In this meditation Fr. Eric Nielsen, LC, takes us through the seven last words of Jesus Christ from His Mother Mary’s perspective. The camera is adjusted at the 1:17 minute mark to see Fr. Eric.
In this talk Fr. Eric Nielsen, LC, challenges us to look at, “What did Christ do for me? What is the Love Christ has shown for me?” Then to ask ourselves, “How am I going to respond? How am I going to open myself to His Love? Finally, am I being transformed by my Lenten resolutions to have a greater capacity for love of Christ and others?”
The retreat ended with the Celebration of the Eucharist for the First Saturday of Lent. Here is the Homily offered by Fr. Eric Nielsen, LC. Please join us in praying for vocations.
