Follow the Star

Mary and Joseph were exposed to the elements the night the Christ child was born. Imagine the scene with a dark blue sky and twinkling stars above them. The crackling of a small bonfire kept them warm inside the manger, and its smoky scent offset the odor of the animals. Despite the dark and chilly evening, the shepherd boys and the Maji found their way to the little cave where they adored the newborn babe.

All were amazed. All felt the Holy Spirit moving. All hearts were full.

Last night, the Regnum Christi family and friends experienced joy reminiscent of the Holy Family and their companions. We hurried from work and school, from the bustle of Christmastime errands and rush hour traffic. We bundled up like we were heading to the Alps to ski. And, for one beautiful and peaceful Holy Hour under a full moon and a winter blue sky, The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us.

Thank you, Jesus, for all you have given to us. You are our everything—our hope, our strength, our light, our love, our peace and joy, our hope in our struggles, and our pain.

Join us next time! Stay tuned for new dates for WORSHIP THE KING. We celebrate with fellowship before our Holy Hour (the chili, s’mores over the bonfire, and hot chocolate were a huge hit!). Our family is your family—we are growing, and with God’s grace, we will change the world!
