As we journey through the second year of the National Eucharistic Revival, my family and I have looked for opportunities to awaken our wonder and gratitude for this tremendous gift of Christ’s Body and Blood. As Regnum Christi members, our entire life is centered on the Eucharist. The fruit of this union is communion with God and our brothers and sisters. This principle of Regnum Christi spirituality was on full display on October 26th at the “Worship the King” event held at the home of the Legionaries of Christ community in Rye, NY.
The event kicked off with a time of fellowship including an awesome food truck serving up savory bites and some delicious homemade desserts. We could not have asked for better weather! Our four young kids were able to explore the picturesque property and chase Rico, the community lab, around the new grotto to Our Lady. To their amazement, it had a flowing waterfall!

The Worship the King Event was an opportunity to recenter our lives on the essential; Spending time with Jesus in the Eucharist. As a young family, we have many events and activities that drain our energy and we can arrive at the end of the day feeling depleted. But I can truly say that, while we had a few tired eyes that night, we all left feeling filled up. It always amazes me that when we “spend” time with Jesus, we always leave full. We look forward to many more events like this in the future and we hope that others will come to experience the joy of Worshiping the King.
