NY Tri-State celebrated our feast day of Christ the King at St Paul’s in Greenwich CT. It was a beautiful day to be together as a spiritual family – to worship together and share a meal together. Fr Andreas Kramarz, LC brought a choir from Cheshire to lead us in song at Mass. Br John Paul Gregor, LC commented later that he really enjoyed celebrating with us and being surrounded by the extended RC family.
The focus of our celebration was apostolates. Starting in the church we had moving testimonies from Brenner and Kristen LeCompte and Jaime de Lucas. Brenner and Kristen each found RC at a young age, and being a part of this spiritual family helped them discern their vocation to marriage and prepared them for each other. Now happily married with four children they are active in Three to Get Married, helping to prepare the next generation of couples. Jaime, a high school student, shared about his time in ECYD and how it is helping him develop his friendship with Christ. He encouraged the youth in the room to consider joining them.
Throughout the afternoon, the topic of conversation was apostolates. We had a movable Apostolate Fair – with Apostolate Ambassadors mingling in the crowd and sharing the good news of their work to bring Christ to the world. Next year we will be celebrating in New Jersey, we hope to see you there!
