Self-giving is Being in Christ who is my Essence.

I have been part of Regnum Christi for almost 30 years. For me, it is part of my essence and it is through it that I am closer to Christ.

Every person who is called to be part of the Regnum Christi family has a special call, which is the way Jesus speaks to each one of us in a unique way. Sometimes this call is for a certain time and sometimes it is to give your life as a priest, a consecrated, parent, a student, a young professional, etc, but the call is unique.

On February 11th, at the end of Triduum a group of ladies, Lisa Rooney, Pamela Brown, Evelyn Auth, Julie Pineda, Margaret Gartlgruber, Mary Rohe and myself, Victoria Cisneros; made a promise of self-giving and availability. In which “we promise to the Lord to promote the life and mission of Regnum Christi”. We commit to having an active involvement with our prayers, time, talents, and material goods.

In other words, self-giving is to be ready for our Lord, for the mission, to form ourselves and share our formation with others all through our vocation of Regnum Christi.

Self-giving is being in Christ who is my essence.
